Top Stockport Lib Dem joins Labour

MORE BREAKING NEWS - The man chosen to fight the next General Election under the Lib Dem banner has delivered a blistering attack on Stockport Lib Dem Council.

Paul Moss, who was until yesterday the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Denton and Reddish has spectacularly joined the Labour Party, as the Reddish North by-election campaign gears up.

One of the key reasons Paul has decided to join the Labour Team is the blatant neglect of Reddish at the hands of Stockport's Lib Dem Council. They have already closed Reddish Baths and now there are plans to close the library too. Given that, it is only a matter of time before the community centre is closed as well, so the whole site can be sold to developers.

Reddish Labour MP Andrew Gwynne said "I very much welcome Paul into the Labour Party. He is exactly spot on when he says he realised the Liberal Democrats care little for Reddish. Hopefully the people of this 'forgotten' part of Stockport will send a similar message on July 23rd."

Pictured above, Labour's candidate David Wilson and Paul Moss are spearheading the campaign to save our library (and to try and get our swimming baths re-opened too!)

The Candidates for the By-Election to be held on 23rd July are also now known... As well as Labour's David Wilson, there are Conservative, UKIP, BNP, Independent and Lib Dem candidates fighting for the seat.
